DarkFever by Karen Marie Moning
This is the second in the series. I think I like it best although it also has several chapters of grossness involving a fake vampire who is rotting in parts. Very disgusting. It also had a lot more of the tension between Mac and Barrons which is interesting. Mostly because I don't know if I think it is a good idea and I would need more information about Barrons before I could make an opinion. Not that my opinion matters :)
