Two for the Dough by Janet Evanovich
This is the second in the Stephanie Plum series. It is better than the first because it isn't as icky but there is still action and mystery. It is just as funny if not funnier, and there is good development of the relationship between Morelli and Stephanie. The best scene in the whole book is when Stephanie gets mad at Morelli and drives off leaving him in the middle of the street naked. But comes back and gives him his gun just in case. Hysterical. There is a little more Lula which is good too. Some of the funniest parts in the series are with Stephanie and Lula.
